This is a sequence based on an arrangement titled "A Salute to the Big Apple"; an orchestral medley of themes associated with New York. Songs included are "Theme from New York, New York," music & lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb; "Forty-Second Street" & "Lullaby of Broadway," music & lyrics by Harry Warren and Al Dubin; "New York, New York," music & lyrics by Leonard Bernstein, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Original arrangement by Calvin Custer. All parts were individually scored for Full Concert Orchestra using Freestyle & Performer Sequencing Software, and a Korg X5DR Synthesizer.
