This is a demonstration version of a sequence based on "The Blues Brothers Revue"; a medley for Concert Band featuring some of the best-known tunes performed by Jake & Elwood Blues (John Belushi & Dan Aykroyd). Included in the COMPLETE version are: "I Can't Turn You Loose" by Otis Redding; "Soul Man" by Isaac Hates & David Porter; "Soul Finger" by Ben Cauley, Carl Cunningham, James Alexander, Jimmy King, Phalon Jones & Ronnie Caldwell; and "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" by Bert Berns, Soloman Burke & Jerry Wexler. Original arrangement by Jay Bocook. All parts were individually scored for Symphonic Concert Band using Freestyle & Performer Sequencing Software, and a Korg X5DR Synthesizer.
Note: This sequence can be used with non-GM synths by loading it into a sequencer and re-assigning the Program Change and MIDI Channel data to meet the requirements of your equipment.
